Year of Faith Retreat, hosted by the GCU Alumni and Parents sub-committee. Special presentation by Sister Judith Schubert, RSM, Ph.D., “Introduction to Prayer and the Influence of Psalms” and “Prayer and the Influence of the New Testament.” The retreat will be followed by a Mass at 4:00pm in the Chapel by Monsignor Ladzinski. Registration for the retreat is in the Mosaic.

Daley, Editors), in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Vatican II, wil be discussed. More copies are available upon request.

Sister Patricia McDermott, president of The Institute of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, will be giving a public lecture at 6:30 p.m. in Little Theatre. Sister Patricia McDermott values Georgian Court University’s commitment to the Mercy Core Values and honor towards Catherine McAuley. S. Pat will share her perspective on religious women and how they have collectively responded to the call to holiness for many, many years.

Monsignor Casmir Ladzinski, Sacred Heart Church, officially opens the GCU Year of Faith at a 2 p.m. Mass in celebration of Mercy Day.

Launch of “This I Believe,” an invitation to the GCU community to share essays on faith, life, religious traditions and/or their journey of faith.
